Twenty years since superunknown (and the physics exam spoonman helped me get through), but you wouldn’t believe it considering how good the band was at the Woodlands in TX. Personal favorite was day I tried to live, or quite possibly pretty noose, but then the whole all-too-short set was beyond spectacular and Chris Cornells lyrics soared during every number. The finale was crowned with a veritable gift of Promethean fire from Kim Thayil and Ben Shephard, a sound(garden) experience forever burned happily in my brain. Considered together with the simpsons marathon, a nice warm TX summer, it’s been quite the walk down memory lane lately 🙂
